Wounded Warrior Project 2024 Courage Awards

This is a class assignment for Full Sail University and not an actual post by Wounded Warrior Project.

Wounded Warrior Project has been around for over 20 years now. They were founded in 2003 with a mission to help wounded soldiers and provide them with the medical care and comfort items they need. Since 2018, Wounded Warrior Project has hosted their annual Courage Awards & Benefit Dinner, awarding an outstanding veteran and acknowledging their top donators and corporate partners. This year, I’m so excited to be assisting with the production of the benefit and I’ll be telling you a little about what’s in store!

Every year we honor veterans for their outstanding service to their fellow brothers and sisters in arms and to Wounded Warrior Project. The organization welcomes veterans who want to work along with us and to share in our mission. The crowd will hear from veterans like Ryan Kules who wont the Courage Awards in 2021, about his story and all of the hard work he accomplished with modifying his home with the help of WWP and continuing on to help other veterans with us (pictured below).

While the main event is our veterans to hear their stories and acknowledge their incredible acts of service, we also like to thank our partners and sponsors for the event. Without the help from our donors, we wouldn’t be able to help thousands of wounded veterans every year. In fact, in 2022 we spent $250 million to go towards medical care for veterans and supplies. We love meeting our donors and people who love our mission and we can’t wait to meet more this year! For more information or to reserve your spot, email courageawards@woundedwarriorproject.com.
